How the Pre-Sale Works

Every REDIMO watch, in all four lines (Clásico, Mar, Para Ella and Relieve), is sold by pre-sale, in batches. This page explains, in plain words, what that means for your money and your order.

The short version

You order today and your card is charged today.
Your watch is built as part of a production batch and ships on the estimated date shown on the product page, in your cart and at checkout.
You can cancel for a full refund at any time before your order ships.
If the ship date changes, we email you before the original date passes.

Why a pre-sale

We build in batches. Ordering components and assembly time for a known number of watches is what lets a small house offer a steel case, a Japanese movement and an engraved caseback at this price. Your payment funds the batch your watch is part of. We say so directly instead of calling it something else.

What happens after you order

Reserve. You choose a model (and a strap, where offered) and pay at checkout. You receive an order confirmation by email within minutes.
Build. When the batch closes, the watches are assembled together and each caseback is engraved with its verse reference.
Inspect. Every watch is checked one by one for timekeeping, hand and marker alignment, crystal and finish. Add-ons you chose, such as a sapphire crystal, are fitted at this stage.
Ship. Your order leaves in the estimated shipping week. You receive a tracking link by email the day it does.

The ship date is an estimate

The date we show is our honest expectation, based on the production schedule. Manufacturing and freight can run early or late. If we learn the date will move, we will:

email every affected customer with the new estimated date and the reason;
update the date shown on the site the same day;
offer a full refund to anyone who prefers not to wait.

If your order has not shipped within 30 days after the estimated date you were given at purchase, and you have not agreed to a new date, you may cancel for a full refund at any time, and we will remind you of that right by email.

Cancelling before it ships

Write to us with your order number, from the email address used on the order. We refund the full amount to your original payment method. Refunds are issued within 5 business days; your bank may take a few more days to show it.

After it ships

Once your watch is on its way, our regular 30-day return policy and 2-year warranty apply.

Priority processing

Priority processing is an optional add-on. It moves your order to the front of its batch at inspection and dispatch. It does not change the batch's estimated shipping week, and it does not upgrade the carrier service.
